III. Workshop of plasmacoblation surgery in ENT and head and neck surgery
On 25 April, the third edition of the Workshop on Plasma Compressive Surgery in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery took place. The event was traditionally held at the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in cooperation with Promedica and under the expert guidance of Associate Professor Martin Chovanec, MD, PhD, MHA.
The main focus of the educational meeting was not only theoretical preparation, but also practical demonstration of the use of plasmacoblation in adenotonsillar arch surgery, rhinosurgery and cervical surgery.
The workshop was attended by ten doctors from different hospitals, some of whom already have experience with the use of plasmacoblation and again evaluated the event very positively.
Due to the interest and positive response, we are therefore planning to organize a fourth edition next year, during which we would like to expand the topic to include other surgical techniques using plasmacoblation.
