Tandem Health

Tandem Health is a Swedish technology company focused on the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Its AI assistant automatically generates medical documentation based on conversations between doctors and patients and provides clinical decision support. During a consultation, the doctor simply launches the application and conducts the appointment as usual. Tandem then prepares a structured medical report, which the doctor reviews and approves.

• Clinical Decision Support: Evidence-Based Clinical Guidance. Doctors can ask questions related to a specific patient, such as recommended treatments or contraindications. Unlike conventional internet searches, Clinical Decision Support draws on verified medical sources, national clinical guidelines, and, where applicable, the healthcare facility’s internal protocols. Each response includes references to the sources used and takes into account information from the ongoing consultation.
• Additional Document Generation: Prepares drafts of specialist referrals, medical reports, and patient instructions.
• Personalization and Voice Editing: Adapts the structure of clinical notes to each doctor’s preferences and allows them to be edited using voice commands.
• Clinical Coding Support: Suggests diagnostic codes, which are subsequently reviewed and confirmed by the doctor.
• Integration with Healthcare Systems: Enables the transfer of approved medical documentation without the need for manual copying.
