3. NASKL LabNext 2026 Interdisciplinary Conference
On 14–16 October 2026, we attended the 3. NASKL LabNext 2026 Interdisciplinary Conference, held at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Olomouc.
The conference was one of the most significant nationwide professional events of the year focused on laboratory medicine. Building on the previous LabAuto 2018 and LabPro 2023 conferences, it offered a diverse scientific programme reflecting current challenges and future developments in laboratory diagnostics.
The programme was divided into seven thematic sessions covering innovations in the pre-analytical and analytical phases, quality assurance in laboratory processes, cybersecurity, patient applications and laboratory telemedicine. Another key topic was the use of artificial intelligence and its growing impact on the future of laboratory medicine. As highlighted during one of the presentations, AI is developing so rapidly that it is difficult to imagine what possibilities it may offer in five or ten years.
The conference brought together numerous laboratory professionals and representatives of leading companies specialising in laboratory equipment and diagnostic reagents.
For our Diagnostics Division, participation in the conference was above all a valuable opportunity to meet with experts and business partners in person, exchange experiences and gain new insights into current trends in the field. The scientific programme and informal discussions also provided an interesting perspective on the future development of laboratory medicine and the potential applications of modern technologies in practice.
Our participation in LabNext 2026 met our expectations, providing valuable inspiration and opportunities to establish new professional contacts.
