32nd International Conference on Hospital Epidemiology and Hygiene, Brno 2026

The 32nd International Conference on Hospital Epidemiology and Hygiene took place on March 24–25 at the newly renovated Orea Congress Hotel in Brno. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. MUDr. Martin Repko, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University.

The SNEH professional society traditionally organizes the conference in Brno every year. It is intended for domestic and international experts in the fields of hygiene, epidemiology, and infection control, and provides an opportunity to share experiences in these fields as well as to establish personal relationships.

Participants had the opportunity to discuss professional topics in the areas of infection prevention and control, including new technologies and their applications. An important part of the event was also the opportunity for personal meetings, not only for business but also for socializing.

This time, Promedica was represented not only by its Disinfection and Sterilization Division, which primarily showcased disinfection products at its booth, but also by its Surgical Program Division, which presented the Asanus surgical portfolio. Our key account manager, Regina Gabrielová, gave a presentation titled “Tracking the Circulation of ASANUS BarCon Instruments,” which was very well-received and generated a number of questions.

The entire conference was very beneficial, and it was also a pleasure to see familiar faces again, make new contacts, and strengthen existing ones.
